Thanks to the 2008  "Bling My Boat" makeover contest the McGovern family of Kankakee, IL, is boating in style this summer! Their "Blinged" boat was unveiled on opening day, January 16th, of the 2008 show.

Buyers Win Big! 

At the 2008 show, Joel & Kim Adams from Aurora, IL bought a Supra from Chicago Sea Ray and were randomly selected to win the $5,000 Buy a Boat/RV & Win Contest sponsored by Boater's World. Congratulations to the Adams family and have fun this summer on your new boat!

North Point Marina and Skipper Bud's teamed up and sponsored boat slip/winter storage prize packages to giveaway to two new boat buyers at the Show. The winners are...

Robert King from Lake Villa, IL who bought a 26' Maxum from Fox Lake Harbor and won the 30-Day Transient Slip for 2008.

Todd Carlson also from Lake Villa, IL who bought a 27' Chaparral from Munson Ski & Marine and won the Permanent Slip for 2008 & Outdoor Winter Storage Space for 2008-2009.

Sales people for boat and RV exhibitors were able to get in on the fun too!  Each day of the 2008 show, a $200 cash prize was awarded to one sales person from all who sold a boat or RV on that specific day. The daily winners were:
